Pre-Kindergarten Programs

State Pre-Kindergarten Program Information

• Cost
  • Free to those that qualify

Student must be FOUR years old on or before August 31^st of the current school year AND meet any one (or more) of the following requirements:

• Eligibility Requirements
  • Student lives in a single parent home
  • Student has a mother or father who does not have a high school diploma/GED
  • Student has a teen parent, or a parent who was a teen at the time of the child’s birth
  • Family qualifies for Federal Free lunch program (must complete necessary paperwork)
  • English is not the primary language spoken in the student’s home
  • Student has a developmental delay that can be documented with an Early Childhood Screening
  • Referral from Department for Children and Families
  • Student qualifies for migrant status

Jump Start to Kindergarten Program Information

• Cost
  • $125 a month

Students must be FOUR years old on or before August 31^st of the current school year

• Eligibility Requirements
  • Four years of age
