I am a 1986 graduate of Douglass High School and very proud of the education and experiences I received from our wonderful School District. I am a graduate of Southwestern College, Emporia State University and Wichita State University.

I began my teaching career in the Remington School District where I was a teacher and coached football, wrestling and track. I served as a school counselor in the South Haven and Conway Springs school districts before moving to Douglass. While serving the Douglass School District for the past 26 years I have served as high school assistant principal and athletic director, Seal Elementary Principal and currently in my fifteenth year as superintendent of schools.
I have been married to Kristen for 28 years. We have two children who attended Douglass Schools. Eighteen year old Matthew is a sophomore Ag Business major at K-State and twenty two year old Hannah who is a Chemistry and Physical Science teacher at Goddard Eisenhower.
In my spare time I like to spend time with my family watching kids activities and enjoying outdoor activities. I love to ride motorcycles and enjoy hunting and fishing.
